A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been supporting my dream. Your kindness and encouragement mean the world to me!

It's been a very busy year for me at Ultimate Peak Travel. As a startup, we've had our highs and lows with all the constant changes, but this has always been my dream. I'm extremely grateful to everyone who has supported the brand, helped me pursue my passion for the African wilderness, and enabled me to share it with people around the globe.
Many of you reading this have met me out on safari, so you know how much these wild places mean to me. My promise remains the same: You arrive as guests, but you leave as family. I treat every booking with the same extreme care and love I would for my own family.
This year has been tremendous thanks to all of you. We've had guests travelling to Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. And for 2027, we already have exciting bookings confirmed for Namibia, Zambia, Rwanda, and South Africa.
Images:
1- Highlight: Little Vumbura Camp in the Okavango Delta. Growing in popularity. A camp situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta.
2- In my element, privately guiding an overlanding trip in the Kalahari. Spotting Lions in the distance.
3- Our Lovely Guests from France celebrated their honeymoon at Mombo Camp, Okavango Delta. A few personal highlights I'd love to share with you:
Botswana has been incredibly popular again. It's renowned for spectacular game viewing and is so easy to reach from Cape Town with direct flights into Maun. From there, the whole country is right on your doorstep.
My favourite lodges this year?
Definitely Wilderness Mokete with its raw, dramatic plains where predators and prey put on an unforgettable show, and Little Mombo in the Okavango Delta. In February, Guests stayed at Mombo during the green season; everything was so lush, yet the game viewing was still phenomenal. The hospitality and wildlife there are world-class. I'd love to know: have any of you experienced the Delta in the green season?

Zambia
I did my fourth trip to Kutali Camp in the Lower Zambezi National Park with my dear client and friend Alan, our eighth safari together! We were among the first guests as the camp opened for the year. The remoteness, the game viewing. It was absolutely amazing. We've already booked for 2027, and many dates are filling fast, even this far in advance. What a special place.

Above: Alan and I are enjoying our final evening in Zambia with our incredible local guide, Josh. These memories I'll cherish forever.
Now for some exciting news!
At the end of this month, I'm launching our sister company, Peak Overland. This is very close to my heart. It gives me the chance to spend more time leading small groups deep into the bush on self-drive, self-sufficient camping adventures in areas without lodges. It's a completely different, raw way to experience Africa that most people never get to see. I'm really excited about this and will be sharing more details soon in our groups.
Thank you again to all of you for your incredible support. I'm truly looking forward to celebrating three years of Ultimate Peak this August.

Overlanding at its best!

I'd love to hear from you.
Reply to this email and let me know:
Which destination or experience excites you most for 2027?
Have you been to any of these lodges or areas before?
Or if you're dreaming of something specific (family safari, photography focus, overlanding, etc.), tell me, and I'll put together some ideas tailored just for you.
If you have gotten this far. Thank you!
Warm regards and wild wishes,
Quintin Rutherford
